Run by Hamilton County Recycling Department.

What it takes

It’s the only one of Hamilton County’s recycling centers that takes some tires. The City of Chattanooga Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility takes some paint and household hazardous waste. The Wood Recycling Center takes brush.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Hamilton County rules

  • Hamilton County’s own centers take recycling only. The county doesn’t post a drop-off for household trash; the City of Chattanooga’s landfill takes it, free for city residents and $2 a bag for everyone else.
