What it takes

Sevier County’s other nine convenience centers take the same items. The Sevier County Household Hazardous Waste Facility takes some paint, some batteries, and household hazardous waste.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Sevier County rules

  • Only Sevier County residents may use the 10 residential convenience centers. You may be asked for proof: a car tag, driver’s license, utility bill, or other government ID.
  • Each resident can bring five normal-sized bags of household trash per day. Up to twice a year you can get a special permit for more; ask the attendant before you bring six or more bags.
  • Bulk waste, construction debris, and green waste are limited to one 5x8 truck bed or small trailer load per day.
  • Business trash goes to Sevier Solid Waste, Inc., 1855 Ridge Road, Pigeon Forge, which charges a tipping fee.
