Sevier County convenience centers and dump hours

East Tennessee, on Eastern time

Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers 10 convenience centers, two multipurpose centers, and the Sevier County Household Hazardous Waste Facility. The Sevier County Household Hazardous Waste Facility is run by Keep Sevier Beautiful, not the county. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.

What to do with tires, mattresses, paint, and more

Before you go

  • Business trash goes to Sevier Solid Waste, Inc., 1855 Ridge Road, Pigeon Forge, which charges a tipping fee.

Staying in a rental cabin?

If you’re staying in an overnight rental, take your trash to the Center View or Wears Valley multipurpose center. The other 10 centers are for Sevier County residents only. The county’s October 2024 policy names Whites School and Center View as the sites for rental trash. Its website names Center View and Wears Valley.

Bring your trash in bags. The multipurpose centers don’t accept loose trash.

Short-term rental cleaning companies pay by load at the multipurpose centers: $10, $15, or $20 depending on load size. Loads bigger than the top level go to the Sevier County landfill.

Fee for guests hauling their own trash: Not posted. Call ahead at 865-428-0042.
