It’s the only place in Carter County that takes appliances and some electronics. The Carter County Landfill takes tires, some paint, and brush.

  • Household trash costs $1.50 a bag for bags up to 40 gallons and $2.50 a bag for bigger ones, at the landfill and at both convenience centers.
