What it takes

It’s the only place in Anderson County that takes brush and construction debris. The Blockhouse Valley Center takes tires, appliances, some paint, electronics, batteries, and some household hazardous waste.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Anderson County rules

  • If you live in Anderson County but have trouble proving it at the landfill, the county has a residency verification form to fill out and send to its solid waste office.
