What it takes

Anderson County’s other five convenience centers take the same items. The Blockhouse Valley Center takes tires, appliances, some paint, electronics, batteries, and some household hazardous waste. The Chestnut Ridge Landfill takes brush and construction debris.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Anderson County rules

  • The convenience centers are for Anderson County residents. You may be asked to show a driver’s license or utility bill.
  • Glass bottles are no longer accepted for recycling at the convenience centers.
