It’s the only place in Harnett County that takes used motor oil. The Anderson Creek Landfill and the Dunn-Erwin Landfill take tires, appliances, mattresses, electronics, brush, and construction debris.

  • The convenience centers take bagged household kitchen trash and mixed recyclables free from Harnett County residents, who pay for them through an $80 household solid waste fee and a $5 recycling fee on the yearly property tax bill. Don’t leave anything outside the gate when a center is closed; that’s littering.
