Harnett County convenience centers and dump hours
Convenience centers are what most people call the dump. This page covers seven convenience centers and two landfills. Each one’s hours are posted below, with the rules that apply.
Convenience centers
- The convenience centers take bagged household kitchen trash and mixed recyclables free from Harnett County residents, who pay for them through an $80 household solid waste fee and a $5 recycling fee on the yearly property tax bill. Don’t leave anything outside the gate when a center is closed; that’s littering.
