What it takes

It’s one of four Madison County convenience centers that take tires.

Each item has its own rules. Check before you go.

Madison County rules

  • The centers are for Madison County residents and household waste only: no commercial waste, business loads, or large trailers, which go to the landfill. If you’ve just moved to the county, call the Environmental Office at 731-423-3020, extension 2002.
  • Every center takes metal. Cardboard goes to Pipkin Road, Highway 70, Smith Lane, Highway 45 South, Passmore Lane, or Oakfield Road; glass to Highway 70 East, Highway 45 South, Mercer, Smith Lane, or Oakfield. Pipkin, Passmore, and Oakfield have Goodwill donation drop-offs.
