How to get rid of old paint in Surry County
Surry County’s landfill and recycling centers don’t take paint. It goes to the county’s household hazardous waste and pesticide collection; the 2026 one is Saturday, Oct. 24, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Veterans Memorial Park in Mount Airy, for county households only.
